AAV1/2 Hu A53T aSyn
Adeno-associated viral vector with the CAG promoter driving the expression of Human Alpha-Synuclein with the A53T mutation. Titer is 5.1E+ 12 vg/ml. The serotype is a mix of AAV capsid 1 and AAV capsid 2.
The vector was made through collaboration with investigators in the Parkinson's field and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Vectors were produced at GeneDetect and now distributed through the UI Viral Vector Core. Vectors are provided at low cost through the Michael J. Fox Foundation to the scientific community for Parkinson's Research.
